Early Bird Session: The Cloud 101: Basics for Understanding What You're (Probably) Already Using

You already use it at home. You are probably using it in your business too. But what is it? Everyone has heard of “the Cloud,” but not everyone can describe what it is or why it’s used. This session will define Cloud terminology and explain the basic concepts, then it will describe the benefits and risks in using the Cloud.

10:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.
Welcome and Introduction

10:15 a.m. - 11:45 p.m.
Part One: Responding to a Cloud Data Breach

When dealing with a cloud data breach, your tried-and-true data breach response plan—simply does not fit. In this session several Baird Holm attorneys will guide you through a hypothetical cloud data breach scenario by discussing how roles and responsibilities, forensic challenges, and data breach response plans differ when a data breach occurs in the cloud.  Like all great guides, our experienced team at Baird Holm will help you achieve your goal of successfully mitigating the obstacles of a cloud data breach.
