Luis Rodriguez

Luis Rodriguez was born and raised in Washington state. His family relocated to South Florida during his teen years. His father is from Nicaragua and his mother from the United States. Luis holds a degree in American History from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts. Before attending Creighton University Law School, he worked as a Spanish teacher at a local Catholic school. He hopes to use his legal education to work in the fields of Criminal and Immigration Law to serve, among others, the Hispanic community. He is appreciative to Baird Holm for the firm's commitment in supporting and encouraging minority students to pursue their professional goals. As he remarks, “This firm, in a unique way, is fulfilling the vision of the nineteenth century jurist Emile Vandervelde who believed that ‘no person is a stranger in the hall of justice.’"

Ean Garrett

Ean Garrett is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C. Currently Ean is the President of the Black Law Student Association at the University of Nebraska College of Law. He is also a Sallie Mae American Dream Scholar and a past Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton Congressional Black Caucus Scholar. Ean has an interest in International Law and looks forward to the opportunity to practice abroad. As a second generation lawyer, Ean sought to pursue law school in order to follow in his father's footsteps and also to reach his own dreams of participating in such a prestigious profession.

Misty Christo

Misty Christo graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a BGS in English. She works as the Conflicts System Coordinator at an Omaha law firm and volunteers with several local animal rescue organizations including, Town & Country Humane Society, Helping Hand 4 Animals and the Animal Rescue Society. Misty hopes to attend Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon where she will pursue Animal and Environmental Law. Ultimately, she would like to return to practice in the Midwest.
