Baird Holm Attorneys Become LEED Accredited

June 4, 2009

Baird Holm attorneys, Ben M. Klocke and Gretchen L. Twohig, recently became LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professionals.

According to the United States Green Building Council, “LEED Professional Accreditation distinguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED certification process. LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System.”

Ben Klocke’s practice focuses primarily in commercial real estate and financing transactions including the acquisition and sale of real property, commercial leasing and environmental review of real property.

Gretchen Twohig is a partner in the firm practicing in both state and federal courts representing a variety of clients in complex litigation involving real estate and construction disputes, commercial contracts, business torts and ERISA claims.

In addition to Mr. Klocke and Ms. Twohig, several other Baird Holm attorneys are trained in the LEED standards and certifications process. In March 2009, Baird Holm hosted a LEED seminar presented by HDR, Inc.
