John Sharp Appointed to the Merit Selection Panel

John Sharp has been appointed to the Merit Selection Panel for the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska. This Panel will assist in selecting the next Magistrate Judge who will replace Magistrate Judge David L. Piester, who retired August 1, 2009. The Merit Selection Panel was appointed by a majority vote of the district judges, and is composed of 10 members, 8 of which are attorneys.
