Baird Holm Law School Scholarship Recipients Are Announced

The two recipients of the Baird Holm annual law school diversity scholarships have been announced.

Creighton University School of Law selected Eugene McCrann, son of Takako and the late Anthony McCrann. McCrann received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University, with honors, in 2008.

Louvontree Hunter is the scholarship recipient from the University of Nebraska College of Law. Hunter, son of Rita Hunter, graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a B.S. in Criminal Justice in 2008.

In an effort to increase the number of minorities entering the workforce after attending and graduating from Nebraska law schools, Baird Holm created two $5000 scholarships. The two scholarships are to be awarded annually to a first-year minority law student attending each of Nebraska’s two law schools - Creighton University School of Law and the University of Nebraska College of Law.
