Jude Beller is an attorney in the firm’s Real Estate Section. His practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions, including development, construction, acquisition/sale, leasing, and management of commercial real estate, and the financing of such activities and default workout/resolutions.


Mr. Beller has extensive experience in private and public construction projects. He negotiates and drafts construction, management, design-build and design contracts and bids on and proposes public works contracts.   He also assists developers and lenders in the renewable energy industry.

Mr. Beller received a Juris Doctor from the Creighton University School of Law in 2000. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Creighton University in 1996, and is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Missouri and Nebraska. 


In 2006, Mr. Beller was recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal as a “40 Under 40” recipient. He sits on the Board of Directors for Mount Michael Benedictine High School and is a member of the Aksarben Ball Floor Committee. Mr. Beller is included in The Best Lawyers in America® 2012 for his work in Real Estate Law.

  • Represented publicly traded big box retailer in real estate leasing and development matter
  • Assisted private equity funds and banks in the development, construction, leasing and acquisition of retail and office facilities
  • Assisted clients in renewable energy matters including ethanol plant construction, wind energy leases, easements, security agreements and road maintenance agreements
  • Represented clients in commercial real estate transactions including acquisition, construction, bridge and permanent (portfolio and conduit) loans
  • Assisted clients in completion and syndication of various historic tax credit entitlements and the acquisition of local government incentives from tax abatement awards, tax increment financing, community improvement districts and other special benefit programs
