Vickie Brady Ahlers

Vickie Brady Ahlers is a member of the Health Care Section of the firm. She represents health care clients with respect to a variety of issues, including regulatory, transactional and contracting issues, HIPAA, medical staff and allied health professionals issues, and organizational compliance.
In 1998, Ms. Ahlers received her law degree, summa cum laude, from Southern Illinois University School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of the Southern Illinois University Law Journal. In 1994, she graduated, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ahlers served as a clerk for the Honorable James L. Foreman, District Judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. In 1997, she also served as a clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office.
Ms. Ahlers has spoken to numerous industry groups, such as the American Hospital Association and the Health Care Compliance Association, on the topic of privacy and security for healthcare providers, insurers and employers. She is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® 2011 (copyright 2010 by Woodward/White, Inc., Aiken, SC) for her work in Health Care Law.
