William G. Dittrick has been a member of the firm’s Litigation Section since 1976 and practices in the area of commercial litigation. He regularly assists clients with respect to general commercial litigation, corporate governance and derivative rights, and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in multi-million dollar product liability and class action cases. He has additional experience in the areas of administrative regulations, white collar criminal defense work and employment discrimination.

Mr. Dittrick is the Past President of the Nebraska State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the states of Nebraska and Iowa, and before the United States District Court of Nebraska, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a past member of the Nebraska Federal Practice Committee and a past President and Director for both the Nebraska Lawyers Trust Account Foundation and the Omaha Legal Aid Society.

In 1974, Mr. Dittrick was conferred a Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law. While in law school, he served as Executive Editor of the Nebraska Law Review. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1969. From 1974 to 1976, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Warren K. Urbom, United States District Court for the District of Nebraska.

Mr. Dittrick has been a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers since 2001; he is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 editions (©2009 Woodward/White, Inc.) for his work in Commercial Litigation. He is also included on the 2009 Great Plains Super Lawyers list and in Chambers USA, America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (Chambers & Partners Publishing 2006-2008) for his work in litigation..
