Ronald C. Jensen is a member of the Tax, Trusts and Estates Section of the firm. He has experience before the United States Tax Court, the United States Court of Federal Claims, the United States Supreme Court and other federal courts.
In 1976, Mr. Jensen received a Juris Doctor, with distinction, from the University of Nebraska College of Law. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Economics, with high distinction, from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1974.
Mr. Jensen is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; the University of Nebraska at Omaha Gerontology Advisory Committee; the Omaha Bar Association; the Omaha Estate Planning Council; the Nebraska State Bar Association and its Sections on Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law and Elder Law, the Iowa State Bar Association and the American Bar Association and its Section on Taxation. He serves on the Boards for Nebraska Wesleyan University, Goodwill Industries and the James M. Cox Foundation. Mr. Jensen is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® 2011 (copyright 2010 by Woodward/White, Inc., Aiken, SC) for his work in Trusts and Estates and is included on the 2009 Great Plains Super Lawyers list for his work in Estate Planning & Probate.
Selected Practice Highlights
- Represents individuals with regard to their estate and income tax planning needs
Handles real estate transactions and adoption proceedings (including international adoption cases) - Argued a tax controversy case before the United States Supreme Court and won a favorable decision for the taxpayer
