Julie A. Knutson

Julie A. Knutson is a member of the Health Care Section of the firm. She is primarily involved in providing health care facility and physician/provider practice clients with advice and representation concerning a wide variety of regulatory compliance, reimbursement, contracting, medical staff, licensure and behavioral health issues. Prior to joining the firm, she spent 18 years working in the health care industry as a manager, internal consultant and trainer.
Ms. Knutson is active in legal associations related to her field in both Nebraska and Iowa. She is also a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Health Care Compliance Association. She is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® 2011 (copyright 2010 by Woodward/White, Inc., Aiken, SC) for her work in Health Care Law and is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Ms. Knutson is a frequent speaker and resource on health care topics including many aspects of regulatory compliance and investigations; complex capacity, consent and substitute decision-making issues, medical staff, physician contracting, behavioral health law and credentialing.
