Douglas D. Murray is a member of the Business, Tax and Estate Planning Section of the firm. He represents clients with respect to general corporate matters, as well as estate planning, taxation and general individual and corporate tax planning issues. His practice also includes bank and bank holding company work along with mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Murray has a background in agriculture and has represented a number of farmer coops and other ag-related interests. He currently serves as board counsel for an Iowa farm cooperative.
Mr. Murray obtained his CPA certificate in 1985 and worked as an accountant for a big four accounting firm prior to attending law school. He has also served as an adjunct professor teaching management accounting for Concordia University. Mr Murray is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® 2011 (copyright 2010 by Woodward/White, Inc., Aiken, SC) for his work in Corporate Law.
