Richard E. Putnam is the Managing Partner of the firm and a member of the firm's Business, Tax and Estate Planning Section. He provides counsel to individuals and for-profit and not-for-profit businesses of all sizes.
Mr. Putnam is a member of the Omaha Bar Association, the Nebraska State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and its Sections on Antitrust and Business Law. He is a lecturer on corporate, commercial and financial institution matters.
Mr. Putnam is Past President of the Board of the Institute for Career Advancement Needs (ICAN), Past President of the Omaha Theater Company Board, Past President of the University of Kansas Alumni Association (Omaha Chapter), Past President of the Fontenelle Nature Association Board, Past President of the Girls, Inc. Board and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce. Currently, he serves on the National Board of Directors of the University of Kansas Alumni Association, Board of Directors of Take Flight Farms, Inc. and Vice-President of the Board of the Rose Blumkin Performing Arts Foundation. Mr. Putnam is included on the 2009 Great Plains Super Lawyers list, The Best Lawyers in America® 2011 (copyright 2010 by Woodward/White, Inc., Aiken, SC) list and the 2011 Chambers and Partners USA list.
