Lindsay K. Lundholm provides strategic advocacy for the resolution of high stakes business disputes, focusing strategy on her clients’ business interests and objectives. She is an experienced courtroom advocate, arbitrator, and mediator, and has over 20 years of litigation experience. Lindsay has litigated hundreds of disputes from investigation through trial and tried more than 20 cases to verdict before juries, judges, and arbitrators in state court, federal court, and arbitration.
Lindsay handles a wide variety of financial industry litigation. Her experience with financial services and banking disputes includes non-competition, non-solicitation, business tort, trade secret, unfair competition, professional liability, securities, shareholder, life insurance, and contractual disputes for financial advisory firms, banks, FinTech companies, registered representatives, broker dealers, life insurers, and other professionals and businesses.
Lundholm has significant experience representing businesses, individuals, political subdivisions, and municipalities in tax valuation, zoning, property rights, energy and other litigation related to real property, contractual rights, and land use. She also has significant experience representing clients in the aviation industry with complex disputes.
Lindsay’s trial experience also includes complex personal injury, breach of duty of care, and professional negligence claims. She has represented businesses, political subdivisions, and educational institutions in high stakes disputes in which their employee’s conduct or negligence has been alleged to cause significant harm.
Lindsay’s extensive alternative dispute resolution experience includes advocacy before the panels of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). She also routinely advises clients in pre-arbitration proceedings including the enforcement of agreements to arbitrate. When working as an arbitrator, Lindsay works diligently to resolve disputes fairly, efficiently, and cost-effectively. Lindsay also works as a mediator and has been an approved federal mediator in the District of Nebraska since 2023. When working as a mediator, she applies her decades of experience managing business, personal injury, workers’ compensation, commercial, real estate, and other disputes to facilitate mutually-agreeable resolutions to challenging disputes.
Since 2022, Lindsay has been selected by her peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers In America© for Commercial Litigation and Real Estate Litigation.
Before joining the Firm, Lindsay served as a law clerk to the Honorable William Jay Riley of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit in 2001.

- Defeated 2021 lawsuit challenging a city’s annexation of adjoining lands
- Successful resolution of multiple complex contractual and business tort disputes for financial advisory firms and FinTech companies in arbitration and mediation
- Secured a directed verdict in 2016 jury trial in high profile breach of duty action
- Obtained $499,000 verdict for architect and project manager in 2013 jury trial
- Obtained multiple judgments at trial in favor of business clients in disputes with former employees and agents which involved allegations ranging from employment discrimination to misappropriation of business property, confidential information, and trade secrets
- Achieved repeated enforcement of agreements to arbitrate and secured several defense verdicts in cases tried in arbitration
- Successful advocacy for educational institutions in breach of duty, Title IX, and constitutional actions
- Successfully represented insurance, financial services, retail, and other businesses in suits brought by and against former employees and independent contractors
- Achieved successful decisions on appeal in a variety of disputes for businesses and individual clients
- Successfully represented shareholders in closely held corporations in disputes with other shareholders in litigation to protect shareholders’ assets
