Legislative Drafting
Baird Holm is regularly involved in drafting legislation addressing client needs. We assist our clients in getting legislation introduced at the appropriate governmental level and in shepherding it through the legislative process.
Representation
We represent clients before policy-making entities at the local, state and national levels. We appear before regulatory agencies, legislatures and legislative committees, planning and zoning commissions, city councils, county boards and other elected or appointed entities. We also assist clients in arranging, preparing for and meeting with elected officials and other government decision makers.
Tracking and Evaluation of Legislation
Baird Holm monitors legislative trends and developments likely to affect our clients and their interests. We also track legislation through the lengthy process of hearings, committee meetings and floor debates and assist in implementation of newly-passed laws and their associated regulatory processes.
