Women are represented in leadership positions throughout the Firm and the community. Women serve on many Firm committees, and two of our six practice section leaders are women. A female attorney has chaired our summer associate program for three consecutive years. In 2008, our associate class is comprised of more women than men. 

Our number of minority attorneys is increasing. In 2008, nearly ten percent of our associate class will be comprised of black attorneys. Currently, our 2008 summer associate class is comprised of approximately 22% minority attorneys, marking the fifth consecutive year in which our summer associate class has achieved this ratio. 

More importantly, we offer the resources and opportunities for all of our associates to succeed at the Firm and to become active in the community. We regularly offer pro bono legal services to non-profit organizations and serve on boards of non-profit organizations which support minority communities.
