  Meet our Summer Associates
 




 
Robert W. Bauer, of Dyersville, Iowa, will begin his second year of law school at the University of Iowa this fall. He graduated with distinction from Iowa State University with a B.A. in Political Science.
 Michael W. Chase from Yankton, S.D. will begin his final year at Saint Louis University School of Law this fall pursuing a Certificate in Health Law and Master of Health Administration degree. He holds a B.S.B.A in Accounting and Finance, summa cum laude, from Creighton University.  While at Creighton, Michael studied abroad through the Institute for Latin American Concern (ILAC) in Santiago, Dominican Republic. Following graduation and prior to law school, Michael volunteered for ILAC as an assistant program coordinator and translator.
 Tiffany N. Lee, from Lincoln, will begin her second year of law school at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. She graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism in News Editorial and Political Science with highest distinction from the University of Nebraska –Lincoln where she was also a Chancellor’s Scholar and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
 Tina Liang of Kearney, Neb. will begin her third year of law school at the University of Illinois College of Law this fall. She serves as articles editor for the University of Illinois Law Review, is a member of the National Moot Court Team, Moot Court Board of Editors and is a Student Hurricane Network volunteer. Tina graduated with a B.A. in Organizational Communication from Creighton University where she was on the Dean’s List and the debate team.
 Sarah E. Moum is a third year law student at Harvard Law School. She received her Bachelor of Arts with distinction in English and Latin at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Sarah speaks Spanish, volunteered for Habitat for Humanity in Costa Rica and attended Universidad de Costa Rica in the Spring of 2005.
 Paige L. Pahlke, of Scottsbluff, will begin her second year of law school at the University of Iowa in the fall. She graduated cum laude, with distinction from Creighton University with a degree in political science and dance. Paige was awarded the 2007 President’s Academic Excellence Award for Missouri Valley Conference and the Department of Fine and Performing Arts Achievement in Dance Award 2007.
 
Anthony D. (Tony) Todero, of Omaha will begin his second year at the University of Minnesota Law School where he is a member of the International Law Moot Court and Treasurer of the Law School’s Federal Bar Association chapter. He is also finishing his M.A. in Communication Studies. Anthony has taught public speaking and argumentation theory at the University of Minnesota and served as the University’s Director of debate. He holds a B.A., cum laude, in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh. While at Pitt, Anthony was an avid participant in the Heinz Chapel Choir and the William Pitt Debate Union. He won the 2002 District VII National Qualifier and 2003 Naval Academy varsity debate tournaments.
 Jonathan J. Wegner of Omaha will begin his third year of law school at Creighton University School of Law.  He received his Master’s in Journalism from Northwestern University and his Bachelor of Arts in English at Santa Clara University. Jonathan's experience includes an Honors Fellowship at Oxford University and working as a Correspondent in Washington D.C. prior to business reporting for the Omaha World-Herald.
 Todd A. West of Bellevue, Neb. will begin his third year at the University of Nebraska College of Law. He received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Todd was a member of UNL's Speech and Debate All-American Team and was Chancellor’s Senior Honorary of Innocents Society. He was a regional finalist on the UNL Law Trial Team and was SBA class president for three years.
