Lunch Alternative
Not planning to attend the Best Places to Work luncheon? The Qwest Center is ideally located to let you choose from a variety of restaurants nearby and in the Old Market. A stroll through the skyway at the Qwest Center will take you across the street to the Hilton Liberty Tavern at the Hilton Hotel. Or walk across the pedestrian bridge to Rick's Cafe Boatyard on the river front.
There are many restaurant choices in the Old Market which is one mile from the Qwest Center. Baird Holm will provide a list of restaurants and a map at the registration desk. Please remember that the Qwest Center parking is owned by the City of Omaha. You will be charged $6 each time you re-enter the parking premises.

Approved for Credit

The 20th Annual Baird Holm Labor Law Forum has been approved for 5.5 recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
The Forum has also been approved for 5.5 hours (includes ethics hours) and 1.0 ethics hour of Continuing Legal Education Credit. This approval means that time spent in continuing legal education activities incorporated in this accredited program may be credited against the continuing legal education requirement of fifteen (15) clock hours per year, established by Rules 41.3 and 42.2 of the Iowa Supreme Court.

Parking/Entrance into the Qwest Convention Center
Qwest Center Omaha surface parking lots are located on both the east side and the west side of 10th Street, across from and north of the Qwest Center. Attendees should park in lots B or D. Click here to download a Qwest Center parking map.
Parking is $6 per car per visit. The lots are owned and operated by the city of Omaha. Please note there are no passes to allow a car to leave and return for the day, and the $6 entry fee to the parking lots is charged each time.
After parking, please enter through the convention center entrance. Baird Holm’s staff will be there to greet you when you enter. Registration, conference room, exhibitor displays, and Best Places to Work luncheon are all located on the 2nd floor of the Qwest Convention Center.

Attendee Information
Badge and material pickup begins at 7:45 am. At this time, you will receive a name badge and the forum materials. Name badges must be worn at all times during the forum to gain access to the conference. No entry to the conference is allowed without a badge.
Smoking is prohibited inside the Qwest Center. There are designated areas outside the Qwest where smoking is permitted.
Forum attendees who do not plan to go to the Best Places to Work Awards Luncheon, held in conjunction with the Labor Law Forum, are welcome to visit other restaurants for lunch. Maps of restaurants within walking distance will be available at the registration area.

REGISTRATION
Registration and payment must be made prior to the conference or upon arrival on April 17, 2008. Attendees registering on the day of the conference may pay for the conference by personal or corporate check or cash in the exact amount. There will be no credit card or any type of billing for the forum. Labor Law Forum Registration
Register early for the Labor Law Forum and save $25! The registration fee for those who sign up for the Forum prior to April 10, 2008 is $125 per person, and includes all materials. Fee does not include registration for the Best Places to Work Luncheon.
Late Registration for Forum – The registration fee for attendees who opt to sign up after April 10 is $150 per person.
