Q: What is the Labor Law Forum?

A: Baird Holm’s Labor Law Forum is the largest labor and employment seminar in the region, typically hosting nearly 1,000 attendees. It draws human resources professionals, business owners and executives, and in-house legal counsel.

Q: What are the continuing education credits offered?

A: This program is approved for:

  • 7 hours of CLE credit by the Colorado Supreme Court
  • 7 hours of CLE by the Kansas Continuing Legal Education Commission
  • 7.2 hours of CLE credit by the Missouri Bar Association
  • 6 hours of CLE by the North Dakota State Bar Association
  • 6 hours of CLE credit by the Wyoming State Bar
  • 6 hours of CLE credit by the Minnesota Board of Continuing Legal Education
  • 6 hours of CLE credit by the Utah State Board of Continuing Legal Education
  • You may self-apply for Arizona credits and view their CLE rules here.
  • 6 hours of HR (General) recertification credit hours toward aPHR™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®)
  • 7 hours of CPE credits by the Nebraska Board of Public Accountancy


Q: How do I obtain continuing education credits?

A: You will receive an email after the event with next steps on how to obtain the continuing education credits.

The email will include:

  • A confirmation of your attendance
  • Activity numbers and instructions

A:  Parking is free in the front of the building at the Embassy Suites – La Vista Conference Center.

ABOUT THE NEW MOBILE EVENT APP:

Q: What is the social/activity feed?

A: With the in-app activity feed you can engage with other attendees by posting comments and pictures located under the Social icon. You can also view Baird Holm LLP’s social networking sites right within the app. Log into your personal Twitter, LinkedIn or Instagram accounts to interact with Baird Holm.


Q: How can you view the agenda for the event?

A: Easily access the schedule through the Schedule module. You can filter or search the schedule to quickly find sessions of interest. MySchedule allows you to personalize your event experience by adding sessions you’re most interested in and syncs with your native device calendar. For your convenience you can also take session notes and view more information about the speakers.


Q: What is the MyEvent icon?

A: Within MyEvent, you can view your personalized list of sessions that you added through the Schedule icon, review all contacts that you saved within the app and you can see a collection of your notes from the Schedule, Speaker and Attendee modules. All of this data can be exported to your email.


Q: What is MyProfile?

A: If you wish to share your information with other event attendees, you can complete your profile for others to view. 


Q: How do you make your information under MyProfile private? 

A: You have full control over which information is public and which information is private by clicking the “lock” icon found under the “Edit” button in the top right corner of the MyProfile module.


Q: How do you connect with other event attendees?

A: Under the Attendee module you are able to view all attendees who have made their information public. The “let’s meet” option allows you to create an email from your native device and you can save contacts to MyContacts within the app or your native device’s address book. You can also take notes on attendees.


Q: How do you provide event feedback?

A: The Overall Survey is an opportunity for you to provide honest feedback following the event. There are also survey questions for each presentation. We greatly appreciate your input so we can provide better value at future events.


Q: What is the Help Desk module?

A: Use the Help Desk module to connect with a representative from TripBuilder, the mobile event app provider. If you have questions specifically regarding today’s event please contact Sarah Morris at smorris@bairdholm.com or Meredith Williams at mwilliams@bairdholm.com. You can also find Baird Holm staff throughout the event to assist with day-of needs.
