On May 3, 2018 Baird Holm published “New Nebraska Law LB 931 Aims to Reduce Prescription Opioid Abuse” in its Health Law Newsletter. The article incorrectly stated that the obligation to discuss the potential dangers of Schedule II controlled substances and other opiates not listed in Schedule II only applies when writing prescriptions to patients under the age of 18. The obligation to discuss the potential dangers of Schedule II controlled substances and other opiates applies to prescriptions for all patients. Baird Holm apologizes for the error.
