Patrick M. Kennedy’s practice focuses on intellectual property and technology, with an emphasis on patent law.  Patrick is a registered patent attorney and works with clients, ranging from start-up ventures to established companies, to provide the most comprehensive and effective protection for their intellectual property—including patent, copyright, and trademark protection. 

Patrick also represents clients on issues related to data privacy and security and information technology matters, including licensing agreements and technology acquisitions, as well as general information security.  Additionally, he assists clients with matters involving e-commerce and the internet. 

Patrick earned his Juris Doctor, with distinction, from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2018.  While in law school, he earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in the Copyright Law Seminar and the Entrepreneurship Clinic.  He was elected Student Bar Association Class President by his classmates, and also served as a senior member of the Nebraska Moot Court Board.  Patrick earned his B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2015, with a minor in Chemistry.
