Carrie E. Schwab focuses her practice on general corporate matters, as well as tax law, and employee compensation and benefits. She assists businesses of all sizes on a variety of matters, including entity formation, corporate governance, general tax strategy and planning, ERISA compliance and employee benefit programs, and equity compensation incentives. As an owner of a closely held business prior to beginning her legal education, Carrie has a unique perspective on the practical aspects of operating and growing businesses.

Carrie graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2023, with highest distinction. While in school, Carrie served as Senior Articles Editor for the Law Review. She was the recipient of a number of awards, including the Guy Cleveland Chambers Award (2023), the Entrepreneurship Award (2022-2023), the Law College Prize for Outstanding Academic Achievement (2021-2022), the Professor Arthur Bruce Winter Constitutional Law Scholar Award (2021-2022), the Best Brief Award (Spring, 2021), and the Legal Writing Award (2020-2021). She also received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for her performance in the Entrepreneurship Clinic (Spring, 2023), Employment Law (Fall, 2022), Nonprofit Organizations (Fall, 2022), Business Associations (Spring 2022), Employee Benefits (Spring, 2022), Individual Income Tax (Spring, 2022), Constitutional Law I (Fall, 2021), and Legal Profession (Fall, 2021). Prior to law school, Carrie graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013, with honors.
