Kiley N. Schmidt is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Section. She focuses her practice on defending employers in employment litigation matters in state and federal courts, including claims under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FLSA, and other federal and state employment laws.

Kiley graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Law with pro bono service distinction and as a member of Phi Delta Phi. Kiley also served as a member of the Law Review and interned with a federal district court judge. After law school, Kiley clerked for two Missouri state court judges and served as a county prosecutor for a district attorney’s office in Kansas City, Kansas. She also competed in the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s Trial Academy. Prior to law school, Kiley graduated from Kansas State University in 2012 with a B.A. in English Literature and a B.S. in Secondary Education. In 2018, she earned her M.S. degree in English Literature from Wichita State University.
