Sarah (Sally) L. McGill is a member of Baird Holm’s Labor & Employment section, where she represents employers in employment litigation matters and provides proactive counsel to employers on labor and employment law compliance. As a litigator, she has defended employers against claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and breach of contract. Sally also has considerable experience litigating cases involving non-compete disputes and theft of intellectual property, as well as defending clients against wage and hour claims, including in the class and collective action context. With a deep understanding of state and federal employment laws, she works to guide clients to favorable outcomes in court, before administrative agencies, and through alternative dispute resolution methods.
Sally also provides strategic advice to help businesses effectively navigate complex workplace issues. She delivers practical guidance tailored to each client’s unique needs when advising on day-to-day employment issues, drafting compliant workplace policies and agreements, and training employers on best practices to minimize legal risk while fostering positive employee relations.
In 2025, Sally was selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in Employment Law – Management and Employment Law – Individuals.
