Since joining the firm, Tyler J. Mullen has focused exclusively on public finance transactions, working with issuers, underwriters and other transaction parties to structure and close a variety of tax-exempt and tax-advantaged bond issues.
Tyler’s practice prior to joining the firm focused on public and private corporate transactions including securities, mergers and acquisitions, private equity offerings, and other corporate matters. He advised corporate clients in the purchase/sale of stock and large assets, and he consulted on joint venture and partnership structuring for clients in a variety of industries. Tyler regularly handled the drafting and review of documents for corporate transactions, including those required by state and federal securities laws.
Tyler earned his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law in 2009, where he earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Business Associations. In addition, he successfully completed all four Nebraska certified public accountant exams in 2008 and interned at two accounting firms prior to practicing law.
Tyler is a member of the Omaha Bar Association and the Nebraska Bar Association and has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Omaha Country Club Caddie Alumni Association since 2011. Tyler has been recognized by Super Lawyers who has named him a “Rising Star” in 2019.
