Welcome to our FAQ page, where you’ll find answers to the most common questions about the event to help you plan your experience with ease.

Where is the forum held?
Baird Holm’s 37th Annual Labor Law Forum will be held on the second floor of the CHI Health Center (455 N 10th St.). You can access this space by using the stairs, escalator, or elevator.

Where should I park?
Parking is available in lots B and D for $10 per car. Cash and card are accepted, but chase is recommended for a faster parking experience.

What time are the parking lots open?
The parking lot will be open from 5:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

 Is parking included with my registration?
Parking is not included with a paid or complimentary registration.

Will my parking be validated if I leave for lunch?
Each parking voucher is valid for a single use only; if you exit the parking lot, you will need to purchase a new voucher to re-enter.

Can I change my breakout sessions?
Yes, you’re welcome to attend any breakout session you’d like, even if it is different than what you selected when you registered.

Can I get access to the PowerPoints for the breakouts?
Yes, the PowerPoints for most sessions will be available in the app. To access the PowerPoint, click on the schedule icon, then choose the session, then click on the attachment icon.

 Is there a lactation room at the forum?
Yes, there are multiple private areas and a fridge available for your use. Please see the staff at the registration table for additional information.

What food options are available at the forum:
A continental breakfast, coffee, and tea will be available starting at 7:00 a.m. An afternoon snack will also be available. Lunch is available for purchase.

Can I preorder lunch?
Yes, you can preorder your lunch here. The preorder option ends at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 24. 

What will be available at the a la carte station?
Assorted soft drinks, packaged snacks, wraps, and salads will be available for purchase. Please note, the a la carte station only accepts debit and credit cards.

Can I bring in my own lunch?
No, the CHI Health Center does not allow outside food and beverage.

Is lunch included with my registration?
Lunch is not included with a paid or complimentary registration.

Does the CHI Health Center’s Clear Bag Policy apply to Baird Holm’s Labor Law Forum?
No, since the event is not in the arena, the clear bag policy does not apply to this event.

 Will there be internet at the event?
Yes, complimentary wireless internet will be available for event attendees. 

Will there be charging stations available?
There will be a few charging pods in the common areas of the facility. These complimentary pods are available on a first come first service basis.  If you are having a hard time finding a charging station or open outlet, please reach out to the front desk staff.

What continuing education credits are available at the forum?
This event is approved for the following continuing education credits:

NE CPE – 8 hours*
NE CLE – 7.5 hours*
IA CLE – 7.5 hours*
CO CLE – 9 hours
FL CLE – 9 hours*
KS CLE – 8 hours*
MN CLE – 6.5 hours*
MO CLE – 9 hours*
ND CLE – 6.5 hours*
NE CLE – 7.5 hours*
UT CLE – 7.5 hours*
WY CLE – 6.5 hours*
CCB – 9 CEUs
HR General Recertification Credits through HRCI – 7.5 hours
HR Continuing Education Units by SHRM – 7.5 hours

*1 hour of ethics is available if you attend the lunch session Legal Ethics Viewed Through the Prism of Popular Television and Film.

How will I obtain the continuing education (CLE) information?
Attendees will receive an email after the forum with the approval codes. If the organization you are seeking CLE requires us to submit attendance, please allow up to 30-days for this to show on your account.

Will the forum be recorded or offered virtually?
Baird Holm’s 37th Annual Labor Law Forum will not be recorded or offered virtually. We look forward to seeing everyone in-person.
