Baird Holm Partner Vanessa Silke and Associate Hannes Zetzsche will be sharing their knowledge in natural resource law on Tuesday, November 7th and Wednesday, November 8th at the National Carbon Capture Conference and Expo in Des Moines, Iowa.

Vanessa will moderate a panel titled, “Surveying the Landscape of Federal, State and Private Investment Driving the Development of the Carbon Capture Storage and Utilization Sector.”

Hannes will speak about “Environmental Permitting a Carbon-Capture Project” on the panel, “Successfully Navigating the Complex Permitting and Monitoring Requirements for Carbon Capture and Storage Projects.”

“The National Carbon Capture Conference & Expo is a two-day event designed specifically for companies and organizations advancing technologies and policy that support the removal of carbon dioxide (CO2) from all sources, including fossil fuel-based power plants, ethanol production plants and industrial processes, as well as directly from the atmosphere.”
