Baird Holm Attorney Jeremy C. Hollembeak Authors United States Chapter in International Treatise on Corporate Group Restructurings

Baird Holm attorney Jeremy C. Hollembeak authored the United States chapter in a new publication from INSOL International, The Restructuring of Corporate Groups: A Global Analysis of Substantive, Procedural and Synthetic Group Procedures. This is a landmark publication which explores and evaluates the legal, economic, and practical benefits of substantive and procedural consolidation of corporate group restructuring processes in 18 jurisdictions across the globe, including Brazil, Cayman Islands, Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom, among others.  

Jeremy, whose practice focuses on workouts, distressed investments and creditors’ rights enforcement, is a member of INSOL International, from which he has earned the distinction of Fellow for completing its one-year Global Insolvency Fellowship Program (comparable to an LL.M.) in 2016. 

In preparing the United States chapter, Jeremy called on more than 15 years of experience representing parties in large U.S. and international corporate group restructurings and related enforcement litigation, including before various US Bankruptcy and District Courts in New York, Delaware, Texas and Florida (among other jurisdictions) in numerous Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 bankruptcy cases and discovery actions for use in foreign (non-US) proceedings under 28 U.S.C. § 1782.
