Baird Holm Welcomes James T. Schmidt Back to the Firm
Baird Holm LLP is pleased to welcome James T. Schmidt as he returns to the Finance & Creditors’ Rights section of the firm.
James began his law career at Baird Holm and, after a brief hiatus at a law firm in the Kansas City metropolitan area, has returned to the firm to concentrate his practice on bankruptcy, in and out of court restructurings, creditor enforcement and collection remedies, and related commercial litigation. He has experience representing diverse groups of creditors in both state court and federal court working creatively and efficiently to achieve the firm’s clients’ objectives and maximize their recoveries. James has successfully assisted in enforcing loan agreements to recover collateral including vehicles, real property, agricultural equipment, and aircraft. He also has experience representing both secured and unsecured creditors before federal bankruptcy courts.
