on Monday, 12 May 2014 in Dirt Alert: David C. Levy, Editor

The Nebraska Legislature did not pass a legislative resolution to place on the November ballot a proposed amendment to the Nebraska Constitution regarding tax-increment financing. Legislative Resolution 29CA sought to amend the Nebraska Constitution to alter the standard under which a city or village could incur debt for redevelopment projects. LR 29CA failed to advance past the Select File during the second session of the 103rd Nebraska Legislature.
