This panel, also consisting of Javier Fernandez, President & CEO of Omaha Public Power District, and Joanne Sebby, Chief Risk Officer at Fiserv, will share insights and best practices to extend the reach and impact of ICAN’s message around male allyship for the advancement of women leaders for our business community.

Special Session: A Male Allyship Conversation

For over thirty years, ICAN has created an annual forum for women – and men – to discuss the most important issues related to the development and advancement of women leaders in our community. In 2021, the ICAN Women’s Leadership Conference introduced Male Allyship as a new topic of conversation on our main stage, acknowledging the importance of men advocating for the advancement of women leaders. Last year at our 30th Annual ICAN Women’s Leadership Conference, we expanded this conversation at a breakout session – Engaging Men as Allies: Moving from Awareness to Advocacy, attended by over 600 leaders.

Let’s keep the conversation going! This year, ICAN will highlight some prominent allies in the business community who will share their experiences and best practices at a special session being held in conjunction with our ICAN Women’s Leadership Conference.
