This year, we are pleased to honor one Sustained Excellence Award winner – Signature Performance. Created in 2003 by Baird Holm LLP, and sponsored by the Greater Omaha Chamber, the Best Places to Work in Omaha initiative provides a way to publicly recognize and celebrate local employers who foster an engaged work environment and culture dedicated to organizational success. The competition measures levels of employee engagement through an online survey. The survey is administered and feedback is provided by Quantum Workplace. “With employee expectations shifting and retention top of mind for many organizations, understanding engagement has never been more important,” said Kelli P. Lieurance, Partner at Baird Holm. “This initiative helps employers build healthier, more productive work environments that support their people and, in turn, better serve their customers.”

“The survey delivers the actionable insights employers need to foster engaged and high performing teams,” said Lieurance. “Being named a winner is a point of significant pride and a powerful reflection of an organization’s commitment to its people. At a time when employers are navigating economic pressure, workforce shortages, hybrid work challenges, and heightened employee expectations, these organizations stand out for getting it right.”

The winners, along with this year’s featured nonprofit, The Work Lab will be publicly recognized at a luncheon event at the CHI Health Center Omaha on Thursday, April 23, 2026. Tickets are $75 per person, or $600 for a table of 10, and are available for purchase online at www.bairdholm.com.

“These companies deserve our highest praise for what they do every day to be one of the best places to work in Omaha,” said Heath Mello, President & CEO of the Greater Omaha Chamber. “Now more than ever, our community needs to not only celebrate these dynamic companies, but also learn from them in how they build and maintain a workplace culture that attracts and retains global talent.”
