Description:
In this installment of our Labor & Employment Law Webinar series, partners Kelli Lieurance, Hannah Fischer Frey, and Morgan Kreiser will discuss some of the potential legal hurdles applicable to employers with a distributed workforce. Specifically, Kelli, Hannah, and Morgan will provide an overview of state-specific laws that could impact out-of-state employees and an employer’s corporate registration and reporting obligations, including pay transparency requirements, paid leave laws, state income tax withholding obligations, workers’ compensation insurance, unemployment insurance, foreign registration, and corporate income tax reporting.

Presenters:

Kelli P. Lieurance focuses on labor and employment law compliance, assisting employers with proactive, rather than just defensive, compliance efforts. Hannah has addressed complex partnership and corporate tax issues, including business reorganizations, private equity fund structuring, business succession planning, and tax planning in mergers and acquisitions. She has been closely involved in numerous federal and state tax examinations and audits.

Morgan L. Kreiser
Morgan L. Kreiser represents employers in all aspects of employee benefits and executive compensation compliance matters, including ERISA compliance, qualified retirement plans, nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements, equity compensation incentives, public employer retirement systems, and health and welfare benefits.
