Profile
Kate R. Wunderlich’s practice focuses on nonprofit and tax-exempt matters, corporate transactions, and federal and state tax planning issues. She assists nonprofits through all stages of their life cycles, from formation and applications for tax-exempt status to major transitions. Katie assists nonprofit clients with ongoing compliance matters, including development of internal policies, procedures, and programs, such as grant-making, disaster-relief, and scholarship programs. She also handles complex reorganizations in both the nonprofit and for-profit spaces.
Katie is a native of Boise, Idaho. She grew up abroad, spending several years in each of Japan and Taiwan. Katie graduated from the University of Notre Dame School of Law in 2019, magna cum laude. Katie received her Bachelor’s Degree from Boise State University, where she majored in Health Science Studies with minors in Addiction Studies and Chinese. Katie currently works remotely from Boise, Idaho.
