Laura P. Genett practices within the Firm’s Financial Transactions section where she advises and represents clients in the acquisition, financing, development, leasing, and disposition of real estate assets.
Laura earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Creighton University School of Law, where she was recognized for her pro bono service. During law school, Laura participated in Creighton’s Bankruptcy Legal Clinic, externed for the Honorable Joseph F. Bataillon of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska, and served as a Torts Tutor for two years. Laura was also inducted into the Alpha Sigma Nu honor society in recognition of academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to community engagement.
Prior to law school, Laura earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, majoring in Biochemistry and Agriculture and Applied Economics.
