Thomas R. Norvell is a member of the firm’s Finance Section, where he concentrates his practice on commercial and agricultural financing transactions, the Uniform Commercial Code, and public finance.

Thomas has significant experience representing regional and national lenders in negotiating, documenting, and conducting due diligence for agricultural and agribusiness financings across the United States, including representing lenders in single-bank transactions and the administrative agent in syndicated transactions. He is licensed in California and assists the firm’s clients with lending transactions and loan workouts in that state. He has also been selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch® for Banking and Finance Law.

Thomas earned his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law in 2021, graduating summa cum laude. While in law school, he served as an Executive Editor of the Creighton Law Review and completed a judicial externship with Judge L. Steven Grasz of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He received CALI Awards in 11 courses, including Taxation of Business Enterprises, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Bankruptcy.
