Brian D. Moore is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment practice group. His practice focuses on employment and workers’ compensation litigation, representing employers that are facing legal challenges filed by employees. Brian has argued before the Nebraska Court of Appeals and regularly handles cases in the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court and the Iowa Workers’ Compensation Commission.

Brian received his Juris Doctor, with distinction, from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2015, where he participated in the Litigation Skills Program of Concentrated Study and earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for Law Office Management and Client Interviewing and Counseling. While in law school, he participated in both the Civil and Criminal Law Clinics, where he successfully tried cases in District and County Court.  He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science in 2012.

Morgan L. Kreiser practices in the area of employee benefits, ERISA, tax law, and public employer retirement systems. She represents clients with respect to all aspects of ERISA compliance and employee benefit programs, including retirement and 401(k) plans, deferred compensation, and health and welfare benefits.

Morgan received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Creighton University School of Law, where she served on the Creighton Law Review. There, she was also inducted into the National Order of the Barristers based on her outstanding participation and performance as a student advocate, and received a CALI Excellence for the Future award in State and Local Tax. She graduated from Central College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies.

David focuses his practice on all aspects of employment litigation. He defends employers facing claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation filed under both state and federal statutes. David also represents clients in matters related to non-compete agreements, misappropriation of trade secrets, and employment contract disputes. In addition to handling a wide-variety of litigation issues, he provides advice and counsel to entities aimed at prevention and avoidance of employment-based claims.

In 2014, David earned his law degree from the Creighton University School of Law, magna cum laude. During law school, David was an editor of the Creighton University Law Review and was awarded the 2013 Nebraska State Bar Foundation Silver Quill Award for excellence in legal writing. He earned four CALI Excellence for the Future awards in Trusts and Estates, Copyrights, Banking Law, and Trial Practice. David is a graduate of Marquette University, where he earned a B.A. in History. Upon graduating from Marquette, David worked in the Development Department at Creighton Preparatory School in Omaha, where he also coached baseball, basketball, and football.

Kimberly A. Lammers assists clients with advice and representation for issues relating to Federal health care program fraud and abuse laws, regulatory compliance, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, clinical denials and appeals including RAC audits, contracting, medical staff, licensure, credentialing, conflict of interest, and human subject research and IRB issues. Prior to joining the firm, she spent 13 years working for a large health system in the areas of compliance and revenue cycle, and most recently served as that health system’s Vice President of Compliance.

Kim is also a Certified Professional Coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders, and has completed ICD-10 proficiency testing through the AAPC.

Kim is licensed in both Iowa and Nebraska, and is active as a member of various legal associations, including the American Health Lawyers Association and the Health Care Compliance Association.

Kim received her law degree from Creighton University School of Law, summa cum laude, and received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota, magna cum laude, with University honors.

Michael D. Sands’ practice focuses on real estate, construction, tax-increment financing, occupation taxes, municipal bonds, and renewable energy matters. He represents commercial real estate developers, wind and solar developers, investors and owners of real estate in matters involving acquisition, financing, sale and development of real property, leasing, management, land use and zoning, tax-increment financing, workforce housing, occupation taxes, and title review.  Michael also represents municipalities, acting as special counsel for projects utilizing tax-increment financing, general business occupation taxes and other alternative financing mechanisms. Michael currently serves on the board of directors for the Nebraska Housing Development Association and Restoration Exchange Omaha.

Michael received his Juris Doctor, with high distinction, from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2015, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Michael served as Executive Editor of the Nebraska Law Review. He was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Contracts, Pre-trial Litigation, and Federal Income Tax. Michael received his Bachelor of Science with a major in Journalism from the University of Kansas.
