John S. Zeilinger primarily represents banks and bank holding companies in a multistate area in purchase, sale and merger transactions, state and federal regulatory approvals and compliance, charter approvals and conversions, negotiating enforcement orders, capital raising and securities law compliance.

John is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association, which he has served as a member of the House of Delegates, and as Chairman of its Committees on Specialization, Nebraska Securities Law, and Ways, Means and Planning. He is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association and its Corporate Counsel Section and the Omaha Bar Association. He has served on the Lawyers Council of The Bankers Roundtable, Washington, D.C., and its predecessor, the Association of Bank Holding Companies. John has been listed in Chambers USA, America’s Leading Lawyers for Business(© 2013). He has also been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® since 1993 and Great Plains Super Lawyers (© 2013). Steven C. Turner practices primarily in the areas of commercial and agricultural financing transactions, bankruptcy and workouts, banking and the Uniform Commercial Code. He frequently lectures on bankruptcy, financing and banking, loan documentation and Uniform Commercial Code issues.

Steve is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and served on its Board of Directors and is Past Chair of its UCC Committee. He is a Fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy. He is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association, the American Bar Association (ABA) and the ABA’s Uniform Commercial Code Committee, Commercial Financial Services Committee, Subcommittee on Agricultural and Agri Business Finance (former chairperson from 1987 to 1994) and the Task Force on Revision to Article 9 of the UCC Relating to Agricultural Financing (Chair).

Steve is included on the Great Plains Super Lawyers (© 2013) list for his work in Banking Law. Since 1989, Steve has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the fields of Banking Law and Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law and is listed in Chambers USA, America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (© 2013) for his work in financial transactions. From 1985 to 1990, Steve was an Adjunct Professor of Law of Bankruptcy and Reorganization for Creighton University School of Law. He has served as an instructor for the American Bankers Association School for Agricultural Bankers and the Agricultural Lenders Institute (Fresno, CA). He was a member of the Iowa State University Czech Republic Task Force in 1993. In 2001, he led a team which consulted the government of Thailand on the development of commercial finance laws. He is the author of numerous articles that have appeared in local, regional and national publications, including the Creighton Law Review, the Oklahoma Law Review, the Journal of Agricultural Lending, the Journal of Agricultural Taxation & Law and committed to various sections of Collier Bankruptcy Practice Guide.

Jennifer D. Tricker has significant first-chair experience effectively representing clients in a wide-range of areas including freight and catastrophic transportation claims, medical device and product liability defense, real estate and construction cases, and complex commercial litigation. Jennifer also represents her clients at the appellate level, arguing before the Nebraska Court of Appeals and the Nebraska Supreme Court.

Jennifer is a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America, a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC) and the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC).  She has been recognized since 2013 by Benchmark Litigation as “Local Star,” a “Local Litigation Star”, and as one of the Top 250 Women in Litigation.  She has further been named by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” (2013-2016) and as a Great Plains Super Lawyer (2017-2018).

Jennifer received her Juris Doctor, with distinction, from the University of Nebraska in 2004, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
