R.J. (Randy) Stevenson is Chair of the firm’s Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits Law Group.  He represents private and public employers in all aspects of labor relations and employment law, including matters involving workplace safety and health across the United States.

He is one of a very few employment lawyers in the region who has been elected as a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, the premier peer-selected organization of labor and employment lawyers in North America.  Admissionis by invitation only, after a rigorous screening process. 

Since 2003, Randy has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the fields of Employment Law and Labor Law and was named the Best Lawyers’ 2016 and 2020 Labor Law – Management “Lawyer of the Year” for Omaha, and 2017 Employment Law – Management “Lawyer of the Year” for Omaha. Jesse D. Sitz represents clients with respect to general corporate matters, estate planning and probate matters, federal and state tax planning issues, and tax exempt matters.

Jesse received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2005. While in law school, he was a member of the Wagner Moot Court Competition Team and the Minnesota Justice Foundation. He received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1999. Jesse has earned the designation of Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) through the American College, and was named to Super Lawyers 2016 Great Plains Rising Stars list. He was also recognized as a leading attorney in Private Wealth Law by the 2017 Chambers High Net Worth Guide.

Eli Rosenberg counsels both industry leading and start-up FinTech companies as well as financial institutions with respect to their financial services products. Eli routinely advises clients on numerous financial services issues including electronic banking, merchant-acquiring, electronic fund transfer, credit card, debit card, and prepaid card businesses. He also assists clients with state and federal regulatory compliance and other regulatory matters including money transmitter/money service business licensing issues. Additionally, Eli leads financial services clients in contracting with service providers and negotiates services agreements and independent sales organization, BIN, agent bank, and association contracts. Notably, Eli serves as regulatory counsel to the Innovative Payments Association and works closely with industry leaders and government regulators on emerging issues facing financial services providers.

Eli received his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2012, where he served as a member of the Moot Court Council and as Note and Comment Editor of the Kansas Law Review. He is a recipient of the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement.

Gary W. Radil, an attorney with more than fifty years of experience with the firm, continues to actively represent clients with respect to issues concerning business planning, estate planning and administration, taxation, employee benefits and nonprofit and charitable organizations. With a background in agriculture, he works with individuals and estates, as well as family owned and closely held businesses, regarding business, entity formation, retirement, wealth transfer and succession planning, involving both tax and non-tax issues. Gary represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and, if necessary, in various state and federal courts, in connection with estate and trust disputes, income, estate and gift tax audits and other tax controversies. He has also been involved in the merger, sale and acquisition of various types of businesses and has experience in tax and business aspects of business reorganizations.

Gary graduated with high distinction from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1964 and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his law degree in 1967 from the Harvard Law School. He is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association and its section on Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law, for which he is a past chairperson. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, for which he serves as a member of the Section on Taxation and its Closely Held Businesses and Exempt Organizations Committees; and the Section on Real Property, Probate and Trust Law and its Business Investment Entities, Partnerships, LLCs and Corporations Committee.

Gary has been elected a Fellow in both the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and the American College of Tax Counsel. He is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He has been listed in Great Plains Super Lawyers© since 2007 for the area of estate planning and probate. Gary has been included in the Best Lawyers in America® since 1993 and is currently listed for the practice areas of Tax Law, Trusts and Estates, Employee Benefits (ERISA) Law, and Nonprofit/Charities Law. Gary was designated by Best Lawyers in America® the Nonprofit/Charities Lawyer of the Year in Omaha in 2013 and as the Tax Lawyer of the Year in Omaha for the years 2011 and 2014.

Gary has presided or appeared at numerous seminars, including the Great Plains Federal Tax Institute, Nebraska Continuing Legal Education, the American Hospital Association, the Nebraska CPA Society and various other continuing legal education groups, speaking on topics concerning taxation , employee benefits, estate planning and probate, business planning and exempt organizations.

Richard (Rick) E. Putnam has been the Managing Partner of the firm since 2009, and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He counsels individuals and entities on business and succession planning issues and has an extensive background in financial transactions. He advises company management on governance, compliance and regulatory matters. He also regularly works with and advises a variety of public and private foundations.
