Andrew D. Kloeckner represents healthcare clients with respect to a variety of issues, including regulatory, compliance, reimbursement, transactional, contracting, and tax-exemption matters. He received his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law, magna cum laude, where he graduated with a concentration in Business, Taxation and Commercial Transactions. Andy also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis in accounting, summa cum laude, from Creighton University.

Ronald C. Jensen’s practice focuses on providing wealth management counsel to his clients, with specific expertise in the areas of elder law, estate planning, trust and estate administration and tax. He has experience before the United States Tax Court, the United States Court of Federal Claims, the United States Supreme Court and other federal courts.

In 1976, Ron received a Juris Doctor, with distinction, from the University of Nebraska College of Law. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Economics, with high distinction, from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1974.

Ron is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; the University of Nebraska at Omaha Gerontology Advisory Committee; the Omaha Bar Association, the Omaha Estate Planning Council, the Nebraska State Bar Association and its sections on Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law and Elder Law, the Iowa State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association and its section on Taxation. He currently serves on the Board for the James M. Cox Foundation. Since 2003, Ron has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the field of Trusts and Estates and is included on the 2009 Great Plains Super Lawyers list for his work in Estate Planning & Probate.

John P. Heil’s practice focuses on environmental matters. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and state and federal courts in Nebraska.

In 1973, John received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School. He was conferred a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1970 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.

John was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General Corps from 1973 to 1976. He served the Honorable Frank G. Theis, Chief Judge, United States District Court for the District of Kansas, as a law clerk from 1976 to 1978.

John is a founder and member of the American College of Environmental Lawyers. He has also served as Chair of the Section on Natural Resources and Environmental Law of the Nebraska State Bar Association, as well as President of the Nebraska Council of School Attorneys. He is also a member of the Environmental Law Institute, the Omaha Bar Association, the Florida Bar and the American Bar Association. He served as a consultant to the State of Nebraska on the drafting of the Nebraska Integrated Solid Waste Management Act in 1991 and 1992. From 1995 to 1996, John was the President of Nebraskans for Public Television, Inc., and he is a former member and chair of the Nebraska Educational Telecommunications Commission. He was named a Fellow of the Nebraska State Bar Foundation in 1998. For more 30 years, John has been a regular presenter at legal seminars, both locally and nationally.

John is listed in Great Plains Super Lawyers 2009. Since 1995, John has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the fields of Environmental Law and Litigation and was named the Best Lawyers‘ 2018 Litigation – Environmental “Lawyer of the Year” for Omaha. Christopher R. Hedican’s practice focuses on employee benefits and litigation, defending all types of employment claims, including discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, employment torts and public policy claims. A substantial part of his practice includes non-compete, business tort, trade secret , and fiduciary litigation. He also regularly handles litigation involving self-funded ERISA benefit plans, fully insured benefit plans and third party administrators. Such claims involve equitable subrogation and benefit denial. He regularly defends cases in state and federal courts for firm clients throughout the country, but particularly in the Midwest. Chris is a partner and member of the firm’s executive committee.

Chris graduated from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 1990. He was conferred a Master’s of Business Administration from the John M. Olin Graduate School of Business of Washington University in St. Louis in 1990. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from Creighton University in 1986.
